Information we have on this pistol at this time:
The pistol appears to have been crafted by
Lepage Freres of Paris France, based on the crest marked with the
letters L.F. located behind the rear sight (Pic 5). Lepage Freres
operated in Liege Belgium and Paris France between 1850 and 1868.
The gold script on the barrel (Pic 6) reads "Acier Fondu" indicating
the pistol was crafted between 1850 and 1860. The pistol is 1 of a
set of 2, ego the number 1 on the frame and barrel (Pic 4).
When the .50 Caliber Rifled barrel is removed you
find the letters "J N I".
Due to the outlawing of "dueling", this was
referred to as a "bereavement" pistol. It is our sincere hope
that based on the serial number (Pic 5) #1636, we hope we can locate
the #2 "Bereavement pistol".

OVERVIEW
A faithful reproduction of the WWI
Model 1911 U.S. Military sidearm.
Throughout American History, Colt's
weapons have given American
Servicemen the confidence to succeed
in combat. As the Colt Walker and
Peacemaker revolvers contributed
immeasurably to American success in
past conflicts, Colt's 1911 pistols
and their descendents were in the
hands of confident, WWI, WWII,
Korean and Vietnam American
Servicemen. In recognition of the
contribution of the Colt .45, Colt
reproduces it in detail, including
packaging. Each 1911 will be
shipped with an original WWI style
screwdriver. |

Ethan Allen Pepperbox, Allen's Patent 1845 Number 2 Category,
3" Rotating Barrels, 5 Shot Which Appears to be 32 Caliber
Pistol. This Gun is in Good Condition, Although Most of the Finish
is Gone, it Does Function by a pull of the Trigger the hammer rises
and the barrels Rotate in a Counter Clockwise Direction, Dropping
the hammer on the Percussion Nipples. We did notice with Repeat
Pulling of the Trigger, the spring Under the Wood Grips Can Slip
From its Position Requiring Repositioning. We did not attempt to
Live Fire This Antique. Values Vary Widely, $1000 - $2000, But There
is no Question That This Piece Will Make a Valuable & Interesting
Addition to Anyone's Firearm Collection. No FFL or C&R Required. |

J
Henry & Sons Antique Percussion Rifle.
38.5" Octagon
Barrel 1" of smooth bore at muzzle (done at the time for easier
loading) with rifling for the remainder of the barrel, 54" Overall
Length. Not certain on caliber, perhaps .31 - .33 Cal. which is
unusual for this manufacturer, mostly 54 - 58 Caliber guns were
manufactured between the 1830's and 1860's. Also included is an
original 6" powder horn!
This gun has a US
stamping in stock behind trigger guard. Barrel is clear to nipple
hole, nipple is rusted in place but clear. Double set triggers in
working condition but missing hammer. A real piece of history.
INDIAN TREATY/TRADE
GUN:
This rifle appears
to be a "US" Marked Indian Trade Rifle distributed by the US
Government intended as treaty gifts to friendly "Indians". Not in
shooting condition without lots of restoration (rust etc.). Would
make an interesting mantel piece as is. Missing ram rod and a chunk
of wood from stock.

Smith & Wesson Model 1917 .45 Hand Ejector U.S. Service.
Developed by Smith & Wesson in conjunction with Springfield Armory for the
use of the .45-caliber Government cartridge. Serial Number 53796, stamped US
ARMY on the butt of the grip, and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" Under the barrel.
The bore and cylinder look VG and we are certain this gun would shoot good.
The bad news is someone scratched some large letters in the frame on the
right side (disappointing to say the least). The grips are not the original,
they are an early stag copy. AMP34 |
