Information we have on this pistol at this time:
The pistol appears to have been crafted by
Lepage Freres of Paris France, based on the crest marked with the
letters L.F. located behind the rear sight (Pic 5). Lepage Freres
operated in Liege Belgium and Paris France between 1850 and 1868.
The gold script on the barrel (Pic 6) reads "Acier Fondu" indicating
the pistol was crafted between 1850 and 1860. The pistol is 1 of a
set of 2, ego the number 1 on the frame and barrel (Pic 4).
When the .50 Caliber Rifled barrel is removed you
find the letters "J N I".
Due to the outlawing of "dueling", this was
referred to as a "bereavement" pistol. It is our sincere hope
that based on the serial number (Pic 5) #1636, we hope we can locate
the #2 "Bereavement pistol". Gunbroker starting bid of
$1995.

Thompson Tommy Gun Vietnam
Commemorative SN002

You are looking at an American Historical
Foundation Vietnam Commemorative Auto-Ordnance Thompson Tommy Gun
serial number V0002. Comes with 1/20 Round Stick Mag and 50 Round
Drum (Where Permitted by Law). We have a lot of guns in our
storefront, and this is one of the few guns that we do not allow
people to handle/play with. The gun is in excellent condition (see
photos) and we have only been able to find two very minor scuffs on
the firearm: 1) behind the pistol grip (where the gun rests on a gun
rack, photo #26) and 2) a small scuff on the butt plate, photo #27.
Both marks have been pictured in this auction.

Interesting piece, appears to be Colt Lightning Frame,
serial number 125756, Pat' Dates Sept 10 1871, Set 5, 1874 and Jan
19, 1875.
6" S&W Barrel SN R69763, Pat Date's Mar. 27,'94 to Feb 6, 1906.
38 S&W Special. From the design, caliber lettering and serial
number sequence, this barrel appears to be from a .38 Military &
Police Model of 1905 (.38 Hand Ejector M&P, 3rd Model). It looks as
though the Colt Ejector Rod and Housing were
installed on the barrel to match the frame.
Trigger guard opened up in front for quick draw action, 3 notches
in altered stocks original grips would have been rounded where as
the replacement stocks are the traditional later model colt style
with some kind of filler to make up the gap. Front site blade is
shaved down low for close range shooting.
This gun may have been designed and used by "Gunslinger".
Unfortunately, there is no history available from the family as the
owner has passed on.

bent bolt. He may also be the person the cut off the front site
ears.

ZULU Converted
French/Belgium Antique 12GA. This shotgun was not manufactured in it's
present configuration. It was first a French rifled musket, then altered to
breach loading by the means of the Tabatierre system (similar to the British
Snider). Then converted to a shotgun by Belgian firms. That's what US
collectors call a Zulu shotgun. The stock has been repaired. Entire surface
of the gun has been coated with some type of lacquer in an attempt to
preserve it, though some of it has been peeling off over the years, still a
neat piece of history! |
